His Word GMC Missions

Our church has been blessed to be involved with the “It’s a God Thing” team of Alabama Honduras Medical Educational Network (AHMEN). We began this ministry by participating in the Christmas shoe box ministry with Larry “Bucket” Guthrie in 2024. Our ladies’ mission group sponsored this ministry, which was a blessing for each who prepared a shoe box for these precious children in Honduras. We plan to participate in this endeavor again in 2025 and cannot wait to see pictures of these children as they open their boxes for Christmas!

Shortly after, His Word GMC began sponsoring two churches in the Honduras Cruzadas Ministries. In addition to financial support, we pray for each pastor and encourage them through the “Pastor Support Project”.

Finally, His Word GMC has sponsored Tony and Kathy Wood to be part of two “It’s a God Thing” Honduras Mission Trip teams, first in September/October 2024 and again in May/June 2025. Words cannot describe the blessings received during these trips.Tony and Kathy thank His Word GMC for their support as well as all the prayer warriors making these trips possible!
